Simple Roman Attire

From a homeschool catalog a friend gave me. Why? So we can learn that they wore Spider-Man t-shirts in Roman times, of course.  My LOL for the day!  Why didn’t the kid just take his t-shirt off?  His bare chest under there would have been authentic  😀

Maybe they'll teach us how to talk more better.  Shouldn't surprise me, but still does.   Your child can reach their full potential.  "Your child",  singular, can reach "their" plural, full potential.  Grammar is something that used to be taught in 4th grade. Don't know if it still is. Later, it's forgotten about, apparently, as we all do whatever desperate backflips we must do to avoid saying "his or her full potential".  In olden days, we could have said "his" full potential, since "he" was a gender neutral pronoun meaning any person.  It's kinda like dog in the sentence, "A dog ran across the yard." That sentence is fine even if the dog was a bitch.  English has a pronoun for something that is neither male nor female. That word is IT. The pronoun "it" is right there, ready for use, any time your object is neither male nor female.   Would you like your child to reach its full potential?  They us...
